T4 HEATHROW (LIGHTING SYSTEMS)

JCK have been tasked to upgrade the lighting within the Terminal 4 Arrivals corridor area and Departure Gates. Once completed the project will provide an enhanced passenger experience and improve on the efficiency of the lighting systems for Terminal 4.

How We Were Selected For This Project

JCK were initially invited to tender the project due to the previous experience working with Balfour Beatty and the extensive experience of undertaking large M&E projects at Heathrow Airport. JCK were selected by Balfour Beatty through a rigorous competitive tender selection process.

Key Stages Of The Project

  • The First Stage –  To remove the existing ceiling and adapt the existing lighting to allow for the works to be undertaken.
  • Electrical Distribution Boards – Serving the areas have to be upgraded to accommodate the new systems.
  • Testing and Commission – Once the areas are accessible the new lighting systems are installed, tested and commissioned.
  • Sign Off & Ceiling Installation – Once the commissioning has been signed off the new ceiling is installed and final adjustments made to ensure all systems are aligned.
